As part of the King Abdulaziz Arabian Horse Center Championship Show – 4th International ECAHO Show that was held in Riyadh, the Saudi Desert Bred Championship ended  with three achievements by horses owned by HRH Prince Ahmad bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and bred by Athbah Stud:

- Balsam Athbah - GOLD Champion KSA Desert Bred Colt 3 & under
- Kheraisan Athbah - GOLD Champion KSA Desert Bred Stallion 4 & over
- Fahad Athbah - BRONZE Champion KSA Desert Bred Stallion 4 & over

In addition, “Fahdah Athbahâ€‌, owned and bred by Athbah Stud owned by HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Ahmad bin Abdulaziz, won bronze in senior female championship.
